Starter Kit 10292
Our "Starter Kit" P/N: 10292 is an excellent way get yourself started in X10
home automation.
You will notice that the kit is extremely well priced, when compared to the
individual components.
It is primarily intended for use with a Pronto/RC5000 or
X10 8-in-1 remote control, as the X10 transmitter is an IR7243 (which converts
infra-red - which remote controls send - into X10 -which travels along the
existing mains wiring of your house).

The kit also includes: 1 AM12U Appliance
Module, which can be used to switch an appliance on/off - like an amplifier,
a light, or even your kettle (great for those commercial breaks !), 1 LM12U
which is solely for use with plug-in lamps and is dimmable, and a LW10U
which is an X10 light switch.
This great combination means you'll be able to control up to three electrical
items directly from your remote control !
